The Proposal By Jennifer Armentrout

Omg this is so awesome. Jennifer Armentrout just shared this with us on Twitter. So all credits go to her. I do not own this.
I was so excited and i'm so happy :D :D

The delicate looking princess cut engagement ring was warm as it rested in my palm. It weighed nothing, but my hand shook. Hell, my hand shook so badly that I barked out a dry laugh that cracked like thunder as I stood in my childhood bathroom.
I'd never been this nervous before. Jesus. I should've taken out stock in the brand of deodorant I used. It was crazy. This whole thing was insane. A year ago I never would've thought I'd be minutes from getting down on one knee like one of those guys in those corny ass jewelry commercials. Never thought that would be me, but there was a knot in my throat the size of a soccer ball, and the nervous energy was part excitement, part dread, because  she could always say no. And that would be seven circles of hell kind of awkward with my whole family downstairs. How many circles of hell were there? Wait. Dammit. Why was I even thinking about that right now? Dragging my gaze to the mirror over the sink, I looked like I was seconds from walking off a cliff. Would she think this was too soon? I knew she loved me. No doubt in my mind. And there was no woman on this Earth I loved more than her. There. I felt it. The skip of my heart. The dip in my gut. This was the right thing to do. I'd just wished I had more to give her. A romantic dinner. Maybe one of those flash mobs. Actually, she would probably hide under a table if a flash mob was involved.  I was in deep when it came to her. Always had been. That was never going to change. She was and would always be my everything.
I started to put the ring back in the velvet box, but on second thought, said WTH & tossed the box aside & slipped the baby into the pocket of my jeans. Then I got down to making myself look somewhat presentable. Scrubbed my face. Brushed teeth into the pocket of my jeans.  Shoved my fingers through my hair. Grabbed for the floss & realized I was procrastinating like a mofo. I'd told her I'd be gone for a few minutes. That was fifteen minutes ago. Okay. More like twenty minutes. It was like a fell into a black hole up here.
I needed to downstairs before someone sent a search party. That was the last thing I needed. My nerves were already shot. My heart pounded, louder than my booted footsteps as I headed down the hall. Stopping at the top of the steps I closed my eyes. Get it together. This was only the biggest question I'd ever ask anyone in my life. Yeah, that thought didn't help whatsoever. I just needed to stop thinking. I also needed to walk down these steps. Those steps was the shortest damn steps I'd ever walked. In seconds, I was down in the foyer, standing there like an idiot. with my hand pressed against the pocket of my jeans. My mouth was dry. I might be having a heart attack Everything was cool. A cupcake would also be really good about now. Maybe even a cookie. Okay. I needed to also stop thinking about food. I needed to find mine. Laughter floated out from the living room. Someone shouted something about balls. My father? Probably. How appropriate. It wasn't like my family or my best friend didn't know I'd been planning to do this. But they had no idea it would happen Tonight. On Christmas. Which was admittedly cheesy. That's what love did. Made me into a complete cheese ball. If I started crying I'd probably punch myself in the throat. Time to get these feet moving. Now or never. Do or die. Blah. Blah. My feet moved like I was knee deep in wet sand. The twinkling lights from the massive, Lampoon size Christmas Tree led the way My parents got a little crazy with Christmas. Looked like Christmas threw up on the house. I might actually hurl. That would be romantic. Very sexy. I stopped just at the threshold of the living room, my eyes finding her immediately and there it was again The punched in the chest feeling. Weak in the freaking knees. I hadn't said a word, but she turned from where she sat beside my sister, as if we were connected and she knew I was there. Our gazes locked. And in that moment, when her lips curved up at the corners, I heard nothing. I saw only her. And she was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. I'd be the luckiest SOB on the planet to spend the rest of my life. With her. Only her. "You holding up the door, boy?" my father said.
I bit back a groan. Way to kill the mood. But I,I couldn't pull my eyes away from her. Mom stood from where she was perched on the arm of dad's chair. "You okay, honey?" "Yeah," I replied, voice hoarse. "Never been better." And that was the damn truth.. Eyes trained on her, I stepped over the long legs of my friend. He said something. I had no clue what it was. Probably something that will make me want to punch him later, because I heard my sister giggle. But my focus was on her, on those pretty eyes. Her smile spread, crinkling her nose. I knew just how many freckles she had on the bridge of her nose. Eight. And a half. She had a couple more in some really interesting places. Places I really didn't need to think about right this moment.Taking a deep breath, I did it. Holy crap balls, I did it. I got down on one knee in front of her. Like a champ. As I stared in the warmest brown eyes, my sister squealed as she shot from the couch like there were springs under her. The moment she recognized what I was doing, before I even reached into my pocket, would stay with me for the rest of my life. She jerked back as her eyes widened, turning glassy with a fine sheen. Her lips moved, silently speaking my name. And that--the movement of just her lips got to me. I was such a Hallmark card right now, but I had no regrets. Silence fell in the room. My dad was even quiet. For once. and the knot in my throat expanded, so when I spoke, it was raspy. "I planned on doing this a couple of months ago," I told her, feeling my heart trying to climb out of my chest. "Things came up, and I thought I'd have something else big planned, but I cant wait any longer. I don’t want to.” I had to clear my throat. "I don't have a big speech, but you know that I love you, right? That I'm in love with you." With the tips of her fingers pressed against her lips, she nodded as she blinked rapidly. Yeah, she knew. "And I'm always going to be in love you." My voice caught. "You running into me in the hallway was my luckiest day." "Oh God," she whispered. "So I'm hoping that you're going to make today my second luckiest day, by saying yes." “Holy shit,” my dad murmured, and I heard my mother hush him. "Dad," my sister cried. "Geez. Seriously?" Laughing, I reached into my pocket, finding the ring and pulling it out. I tugged her left hand away from her mouth. I kissed the top of her hand first, and then I lifted my gaze, meeting hers once again. Her hand shook as bad as mine & her eyes were full of tears. I couldn't move or speak for a moment. Frozen in the moment.  And then I found my voice. "Avery Morgansten, would you make me the luckiest guy ever by being my wife?" There was no hesitation. Not even a second. "Yes," she said, nodding, and before I could get the ring on her finger, she sprung forward, wrapping her arms around my neck. I rocked back, folding my arms around her, and I lost my balance, landing on my ass with her latched onto me. the top of her red head buried against my chest. Someone in the room shouted and clapped. I could hear my mom crying. I reached beside us, gently lifting her cheek. "Shortcake..." My voice trembled, and I didn't care. "You're going to let me get this ring on you?". Avery half laughed, half hiccuped as she pulled back, swiping at her cheeks with her palm. "Yes. Sorry." She extended her left arm, all but shoving her hand at me, and I laughed. Yeah, my vision was blurring. On went the ring. Perfect fit. She clasped my cheeks as she leaned in, resting her forehead against mine. "I love you, Cam. I love you so very much." My eyes drifted shut and I held her tight. So close I could feel her heart beating as fast as mine. Waiting for Avery was the best thing I'd ever done and now we had the rest of our lives together.

The End.

Take a Chance by abbi glines

Take a Chance: A Rosemary Beach Novel
From #1 New York Times bestselling author Abbi Glines comes the story of Grant, the sexy playboy who first captured readers hearts in Fallen Too Far.

When Harlow Manning's rocker father goes on tour, he sends her to Rosemary Beach, Florida, to live with her half-sister, Nan. The problem: Nan despises her. Harlow has to keep her head down if she wants to get through the next nine months, which seems easy enough. Until gorgeous Grant Carter walks out of Nan's room in nothing but his boxer briefs.

Grant made a huge mistake getting involved with a girl with venom in her veins. He'd known about Nan's reputation, but still he couldn't resist her. Nothing makes him regret the fling more than meeting Harlow, who sends his pulse racing. Yet Harlow wants nothing to do with a guy who could fall for her wicked half-sister—even if there are no strings between Grant and Nan. Grant is desperate to redeem himself in Harlow's eyes, but did he ruin his chances before he even met her

review
I do like Grant a lot. He doesn't beat Rush tho. I just love that guy, so I'am happy that he and blair were in take a chance a lot.
Back to Grant. I don't know how he ever put up with nan. I mean I can't stand the girl but a very little tiny part of me feel sorry for her. But then again she brought it down on her own.
Harlow is has a wall around her heart that is so big that I wonder if she will ever let someone in and I just can't figure out why. Maybe I skipped something in the book but for the life of me I can't understand why she has the major walls up. I get that you don't trust people easily and you wan't to protect yourself for playboys like Grant but danm she takes it to a whole new level. It's a bit annoying actually. A few times I was thinking oh for the love of god harlow how many times does the guy have to say it. I mean really does he have to spell it out for you every time. And when you THINK, and I mean just THINK that he doesn't want you, or be with nan or what not you would have noticed it. He would have told you. And I get that your insecure and you don't want to get hurt but danm girl you are going to make yourself very sad and miserable and depressed living like that. Yes Grant has a past and made some very stupid stupid mistakes but he is trying and he is trying hard. Cut the guy some slack
Grant is such a smooth talker. The words that come out of that guys mouth is incredible. So sweet and romantic and sexy and how and ahh I liked it a lot.

So I liked a lot about this book but here were also things I didn't like. Like in the beginning of this book there was a lot of jumping threw time it was hard to keep up. Also I did think Grant was a bit of a douche by going back to Nan every time and I disliked Harlow for being so danm insecure and guarded sometimes. I was like just get over it already. And her big secret. I didn't think it was such a big deal. And I found the way Harlow reacts to it, it a bit naive. And I thought it was kind of bitchy to just leave Grant after he found out. I mean the guy was shocked, give him some time and not end it because he didn't except if after two minutes. I understand it isn't easy for you and you were a bit hurt but so is he. It's a big bom to drop on somebody and expect them to just except it and don't see you a bit differently. I mean that is natural.

So i'm going to give it 4.5 stars. Why not 5, well because I liked it a lot but i'm not sure I really really loved it.

I'm excited for the next book because I want to know how the story is going to wait. But to be honest it's not like I can't wait and I need it now. I think there going to be together. Fight sometimes, make up, Harlow making it difficult for Grant, and Grant using a lot of sweet words but they will end up together.

This book is not my favorite in this series but I enjoyed it never the less :D

Bitter Sweet Love by Jennifer Armentrout

Bitter Sweet Love (The Dark Elements, #0.5)Dez wasn't just Jasmine's crush. A gargoyle Warden like Jas, he helped her come to terms with her destiny—fending off demons and maintaining balance between good and evil. He was her everything...right until the moment he disappeared without a trace. It didn't help that Jas's father had just announced that she and Dez would one day be mated. Hard not to take that personally.
And now he's back, three years older, ten times hotter, ready to pick up exactly where they left off. But Jas isn't taking that risk again. Dez has seven days to meet all her conditions and earn back her trust. Seven days filled with terrifying danger and sweet temptation. Seven days to win her heart—or shatter it all over again
REVIEW
OMG I LOVE DAZ. omg he is, just omg so handsome. I really like Jasmine to. She didn't put up with the shit Daz and her father was throwing at her. I really would have such a need to rebel if my father tried to mate me off with some guy. Well at least she gets seven days to dicide. But still I would tell them to stick it in a place where the sun never shines. I would want to make the decision myself not because someone told me.
But then again of my father would mate me off with someone like daz i would. Back to the story.
I really love daz. I think he is good for Jasmine. HE really cares for her. Yes he made an giant mistake and disappeared for three years without telling her but he tries his best to make up for it.
I also liked the damon named Roth. I mean Damon black was inspired by this guy so he has to be awesome. I also liked zayne and layla.
This books made me really want white hot kiss. who knew gargoyles could be so sexy.

White Hot Kiss by jennifer armentrout

White Hot Kiss (The Dark Elements, #1)One kiss could be the last.

Seventeen-year-old Layla just wants to be normal. But with a kiss that kills anything with a soul, she's anything but normal. Half demon, half gargoyle, Layla has abilities no one else possesses.

Raised among the Wardens—a race of gargoyles tasked with hunting demons and keeping humanity safe—Layla tries to fit in, but that means hiding her own dark side from those she loves the most. Especially Zayne, the swoon-worthy, incredibly gorgeous and completely off-limits Warden she's crushed on since forever.

Then she meets Roth—a tattooed, sinfully hot demon who claims to know all her secrets. Layla knows she should stay away, but she's not sure she wants to—especially when that whole no-kissing thing isn't an issue, considering Roth has no soul.

But when Layla discovers she's the reason for the violent demon uprising, trusting Roth could not only ruin her chances with Zayne…it could brand her a traitor to her family. Worse yet, it could become a one-way ticket to the end of the world

review

5 starts. It was amazing. I really liked this book. I've read the prequel bitter sweet love a while back and I was immediately hooked. I already was a big fan of Jennifer Armentrouts book so I had high expectations about this new series. I didn't know if I would like gargoyles because I've never read about them before and yeah the image in  my mind of actual gargoyles  aren't exactly attractive and stuff.  There more like badass and a bit intimidating so I wasn't sure how it would turn out in a young adult novel. But Jennifer nailed it. I really like Layla, she just doesn't have it easy. I mean the guy you've been crushing on, you can't have. She can't get really close to anyone with a soul actually. That must really suck for an seventeen year old girl. Layla has very pale blond hair and really clear grey eyes.  I imagine she looks a bit like this but then with paler eyes.  Layla has been living with the gargoyles for a long time. Layla herself is an offspring of a demon and a gargolye. She can't shift like other gargoyles can and she can't produce offspring. Because of her demon half she can see souls and tag demons. But her biggest problem and maybe strenght is that she can take a persons soul when she get's really close to them. Like kissing close. So that sucks ass because layla has been crushing on Zayne for as long as she can remember and she can't have him or be close to him. And Zayne treats her like she is his little sister. About Zayne, This picure sums it up I guessI am not team Warden by the way. I liked Zanye. He was kind for Layla and he obviously cares about her, maybe even loves her but I don't see them being anything more. I don't think Zayne is what Layle needs. More than sexy, sassy, witty, handsome, funny, amazing, drool worthy deamon roth on the other end I adored. I love the guy he is awesome. I hear that Deamon ( Lux serries also by Jennifer) was  created out of Roth's image.  So the guy had to be awsome and I was right. Loved the guy, just love him. He is so right for Layla. The where awesome together.  And he is the only guy Layla can be truly close to because he doesn't have a souls so they can kiss and oh boy they did.

Hmm roth.

I just, hmm I can look at this guy for like ever."'Just so you know, your virtue isn't safe with me.  So when you look like you want me to devour every inch of your mouth, I will without an ounce of regret.'"

"You need something"he said.  And when I stared at him, he added "your face""my face?""It's in need of my kisses"

And of course there are many many many more.  Roth has a lot of tattoos that can also come of his body. Like he has a snake tattoo on his arm that is also his demon familiar. It will become me a big snake named Bambie. Roth also has tree kittens that also have disney names. Roth is an upper lever demon. A really strong one. SPOILER  He is the prince s of hell.Roth also made an appearance in Bitter sweet love. He is been keeping an eye on Layla ever since then I think. I really like the scenes that had Roth in it. And I caught my self kind of skipping stuff just to read about Roth and Layla. Don't get be wrong I like layla, love her even. And I also like Zanye but it wasn't as interesting as Roth and Layla. The were less serious and the air was less heavy. Even Layla was happier then. And when Layla was back "home" which was more of a prison actually. I don't know how she manage living there without going insane. I mean being treated like she was nothing but a danger all here live most be exhausting. Even for me to read about it. And when she was with roth she felt free. Maybe that's why I like him moreOne thing Jennifer is also very good at is Cliffhanger endings that makes you want more. I mean omg omg I hated it. I had a feeling something was going to happen with Roth and it sort of did. No it did but when you think he is really gone he might not be. I so hope he is not gone forever. He must come back He just mus. I will be pissed it the second book Stone cold touch doesn't have roth in it. In my book Roth and Layla must be together. They are perfect.I hope this review makes any sense. I think I ranted more about roth than about the actual story haha. So I to sum it op  I loved it . It was interesting and it was new. I like the way the characters interact and grow toward each other. But not without consequences.

REVIEW

J.Lynn did it again. She wrote yet again a captive thrilling, romantic, sexy, steamy, funny amazing story. I loved it from the beginning till the end. I was lucky I got this book on a day of because I could't put it down. It was really captivating.

be with me is the second book in the Wait for you Series ( which is amazing by the way.). This story is about Jace and Teresa (tess). Jace is Cam (cameron) best friend and Teresa is Cam's sister. Jace and Teresa knew eachother for a long time because of Jace's friendship with Cam.
Teresa is a dancer threw and threw. She loves it and she is pretty damm good to. She got a scholarship to an amazing dance school. Unfortunately she torn her knee and can't dance until it's completely healed. If it will completely heal.
So Tess back up plan is to go to collage to study for being a teacher, which is her back up plan. Tess goes to the same collage as Cam and his girlfriend Avery and ofcourse Jace. Teressa always thought Jace is attractive and I have to agree with her

Tess and Jace have an amazing kiss but after that Jace ignores her for months.
Tess had had one relationship in her life and that relationship was abusive. Her boyfriend hit her and abused her verbally.  With help of Cam she got out of it
`
Well Jace doesn't really know what he wants. He wants to be with Tess but also he isn't sure. He has a secret of his own that I did not see coming at all. At some point I did thought well screw it jace you don't even desirve Tess. I mean how many times do  you think you can hurt her and ignore her and expect her to be your friend and just be there when do want her. That's a real jerk move my friend.

I am happy he pulled threw tho, the moments that they were together and being honest with each other, were great.  In the end they both deserve it.

I also loved the cam and avery scenes in this book. I really missed them.

Review:
This book was like a rollercoster ride, let me tell ya. I don't know if this is Redmerski's best work but I enjoyed it. Redmerski really did a good job with describing a persons thoughts and actions when there suffering from a bipolar disease and depression.  Blay's mood swings really made sens when we found that out.
I don't know if I love blay. I don't have anything against people with mental diseases but her fear of going to prison seems so irrational and over the top for me and I just didn't understand. Finding out she was bipolar explained a lot for me but I couldn't love her at that point.
I really like elais and I love the devotion he has for her. Sometimes it seemed suffocating to me. But maybe it seems that way to me because I have commitment fear.  But still it was really inspiring to see that and I admire that.  It seems exhausting for elais but it shows how much he loves blay and proves that he will really do anything for her.

I do think Blay and Elais made a very stupid decision by running away. I get that Elais was trying to protect her but it was a bad choice. It made everything worse. I don't know what I would have done in Elais position. And I get that he was trying to protect blay and I love him for that.
The both of them were stupid and made bad decisions but the grew enormously after that and i'm happy with the ending

I loved that cameryn and andrew made an appearance in the book. I was smiling like an idiot. I couldn't remember elais and blay and the others in Cameryn and Andrews book but I like that they were in it.

I did have trouble's with remembering all the side characters. That might have something to do with me sucking at remembering people's names tho haha.

Redmerski has awesome skill in describing people's thought. Especially people with mental problems and issues. it's really accurate and it gives depth and excitement for the readers.
