Stone cold touch by jennifer armentrout

Every touch has its price

Layla Shaw is trying to pick up the pieces of her shattered life—no easy task for a seventeen-year-old who’s pretty sure things can’t get worse. Her impossibly gorgeous best friend, Zayne, is forever off-limits thanks to the mysterious powers of her soul-stealing kiss. The Warden clan that has always protected her is suddenly keeping dangerous secrets. And she can barely think about Roth, the wickedly hot demon prince who understood her in ways no one else could.

But sometimes rock bottom is only the beginning. Because suddenly Layla’s powers begin to evolve, and she’s offered a tantalizing taste of what has always been forbidden. Then, when she least expects it, Roth returns, bringing news that could change her world forever. She’s finally getting what she always wanted, but with hell literally breaking loose and the body count adding up, the price may be higher than Layla is willing to pay…

REVIEW

I was so impatient for this book. And i'm really scared for the last one because weither roth ends up with layla is in our hands and after reading Stone could touch i'm afraid of the Zanye lovers or people switching teams. Not that it happened with me. I'm team roth all the way.

So if those pictures won't convince you to stay/become team roth I'm hoping my review will.

What is this story all about
Well the story starts immediately where the first one ended. Layla misses roth allot. Zanye is there for her the whole time. This book is more about Layla and Zanye relationship. You see the two of them growing together and things get a little hot sometimes, I have to admit. I did like those scenes but I still feel like roth is better for her than zanye is.
So thank god roth is back and he has another job that he has to do. This also involves layla ( not spoiling what it is.) The thing I will tell you is that the prevention of the birth of the lilin might not be that well prevented.

What did I love about this book

Well here are some roth quotes. (I'm not trying to spoil anything but these quotes might contain spoilers so don't say I didn't warn you)

"“Nah, I think I’m sexy.” The smirk spread, but it didn’t reach his cool ocher eyes. “And I also think I’m hilarious.” Dez and the rest of the Wardens tensed. I guessed they thought Roth should be intimated by so many of them, but Roth...well, the more sticky the situation, the more of a smart- ass he became "

“Are you...seriously growling at me, Stony?”

The tip of his tongue moved over his upper teeth, showing off the ball holding the bolt piercing in place. Supposedly it wasn't his only piercing—I stopped that thought. I so did not need to think about that

Roth dropped his arm over my shoulders and hauled me up against his side. I stiffened as he slid his hand up my back, balling his fist in my hair. “We were looking for a private place...you know, so we could be alone.” He dipped his head to mine, sending raven-colored locks across his forehead. “Then we saw all of this and kind of got distracted by the weirdness. Isn't that right, baby?”"

Oke enough teasers, or I'll end up quoting the whole book and i'm not gonna spoil the best part. I think it's quite obvious what I loved about it.
