Review: "Bad for her by Christi Barth"

Doctor Mollie Vickers loves the tight-knit community of her tiny Oregon town. But she’s not a fan of the limited dating options. Sleep with a guy who tried to copy off her in junior high? Pass. Mollie’s sex life is flatlining… until a deliciously handsome man she’s never seen before stops to help her fix a flat tire.

As an ex-mobster, Rafe Maguire’s no saint. But he’s trying to turn over a new leaf. Although he probably shouldn’t kiss the hot doctor on the side of the highway. Or suggest a no-strings fling with a woman he has no business pursuing. Rafe’s life is too complicated for love—his new WITSEC-provided identity doesn’t fit him at all and there’s a U.S. Marshal watching his every move. He can’t tell Mollie the truth… but their chemistry is scorching and being good doesn’t mean he can’t be a little bad.

Mollie can’t resist the guy who looks rough, talks tough, and is loyal to the bone. But it’s obvious Rafe is keeping secrets. When the truth comes out, Mollie must decide if she could ever love an ex-mobster… or if this bad boy has truly gone good.

Review:
I was curious about this book. The summary sounded interesting and I needed a bit of a light interesting read.

What is this book about:
This book is about Dr. Mollie and ex mobster Rafe. Rafe and his brothers are in the witness protection program after striking a deal to testify against their boss. They are located, again, to a small town. Coming from San Fransisco, they don't really like it in the small town, and thats putting it lightly. Rafe got a job as a mechanic, and thats about the only thing he likes about this town, that and the fact that it keeps his brothers save and happens to have a hot single doctor does help.
When Mollie gets stranded at the side of the road with a flat tire she couldn't believe her luck when a hot guy pulls over to give her a hand. Their chemistry is off the chart. It's often when you aren't looking that you find exactly what you need. You only need to accept it.

What did I like/love:
I liked the concept of the story. Rafe was a great guy, he is loyal to the bone and is willing to do whatever it takes to keep them save.
Mollie was a great girl as well, she is smart, and had great sass.
They chemistry between Rafe and Mollie was great as well.
There was some drama and I think Mollie was overreacting a bit but I could understand why. I did like that she owned up to it and admitted that she got spooked. I really liked that she did that.
Overall it was a sweet and easy story. I enjoyed reading it.

What did I dislike/hate:
Nothing

Rating:
3 It was oke stars
