Review "You Were Mine by Abbi Glines (Rosemary Beach #9)"

In the eyes of the wealthy playboys who frequent Kerrington Country Club in Rosemary Beach, Tripp Newark is a hero. Under pressure from his parents to become a lawyer and lead a conservative, upper-class life, Tripp disappeared from town five years ago to travel the world, forfeiting the opportunity to inherit millions. Yet few know what he was really running from...
Bethy Lowry was unraveling long before her boyfriend drowned in a riptide trying to save her after she'd had one too many drinks--again. A trailer park kid working as a cart girl among the wealthy patrons of Kerrington Country Club, Bethy has always been impressionable. But five years ago, before she earned her reputation as a hard-drinking, easy girl, she had spent a single summer with Tripp Newark that changed her life forever.

Review
I was curious about this story because I know nothing about Trip, except for the fact that he's Jace cousin and that he couldn't take his parents pressure anymore and ran. I also don't know much about Bethy other than the fact that she is an amazing side character and a good friend. So I'm exited to find out more about her.

What is this book about
Ever since Jace death, bethy has been a ghost. The happy, bubbly, party girl she was is gone. And then there is Tripp. For some reason Bethy can't stand to be around tripp, she's very very angry and upset with him. Tripp on the other hand looks at Bethy like she is his last hope in life, like she is everything.
Tripp has made the decision to come back to Rosemary Beach, and not because of Jace, or Della, like everybody things. But because he wants the love of his life back, the woman he left 8 years ago, Bethy. But things won't be as easy.  There are secrets that and things from the past that are haunting Bethy's present and future. Things that Tripp help create. Now he has to do whatever it takes to make things right again.

What did I like about this book.
I loved getting to know tripp and bethy better. I loved seeing bethy heal and become more like her old self again and find the love of her live. I hate that Jace had to die, I really liked the guy, but oke that happened.
I loved to see the old characters again and see how their lives are going. We get to see Nate grow up a bit, Grand being an overprotective daddy to Lila Kate, and we get to see Woods and Della's wedding, combined with another announcement.
I like this book better than the last two in the series. I can't wait to read more. Mase's story is next
