When a human ventures into the world of vampires—a decadent milieu of blood-bonds and betrayal—she discovers that not all is what it seems.
For Reyna Carpenter, giving up her body isn’t a choice. It’s survival.
In a civilization laid waste by poverty and desperation, Reyna accepts a high-paying position with the wealthy and hungry vampire elite. Her new job is as the live-in blood escort for the intimidating, demanding, and devilishly handsome Beckham Anderson. He’s everything she expected from a vampire, except for one thing—he won’t feed off her.
Reyna soon discovers that behind Beckham’s brooding, wicked façade lies a unique and complex man. And that, in a dark and divided world, she is more valuable than she ever would have believed.
For with each passing night, Reyna can’t shake the sensation that it’s Beckham who’s afraid of her.

Review:
I was pleasantly surprised when I read this book. I wasn't sure what to expect. I've read a book by K.A Linde before and sadly I hated that particular book, therefor I was a bit hesitant to read this one. But I'm glad I did because I really liked it.
What is this book about:
Well the world has gone to shit. The vampires stopped hiding and took over the world. The poor became even more poor, and even the medium incomes became poor. People have to work hard and receive little. Reyna is one of those people, she cant afford to go to school and she won't get hired because she doesn't have an education. So in order to help her brothers she decided to apply for a job, a job that doesn't require you to have an education. All it requires you to have is blood. You see the job Reyna is applying for is basically be a walking, talking, blood bag for a vampire. In Reyna's case she was selected for a new job, become a permanent blood bag for a vampire who's blood type matches with hers, Beckham.
You see vampires can drink anyone's blood but it turns them feral. When they drink for their specific blood type it gives them the ability to think rational again.
So Reyna agree's to become a live in at Beckhams.
It's not what Reyna expected. She didn't expect the vampire she have to work for to be so handsome, and she certainly didn't expect him to ignore her and not feed from her. Somethings aren't what they seem, is Beckham one of them or is he actually as cold as he appears to be.
What did I like about this book:
I liked the blood type concept. It's one I haven't heard before.
I liked Reyna but she was a bit weak at times. She repeated the same circle and was bordering at becoming pathetic at points. She would pin after beckham, he would show intrest in her, push her away, she would decide that she was done, but then the circle repeated it self. It became especially irritating, from beckams side as well, when it became clear that he has a girlfriend. That's not oke dude. Beckham has some choices to make. And Reyna needs to learn to stand her ground
Overall I'm very curious to see where the story will go.

She just has to find the will to survive this game.

Review:
I loved this book. There was still allot of back and forth going on between Beckham and Reyna but it was moving somewhere so it's was oke.
Beckham could still be really cruel with some of his actions. He could have handled things better. He could have handled Reyna better. I'm not sure why he does what he does at times. Is he unsure what he wants? Is he scared or is he really clueless about how his actions affected Reyna.
What is this book about:
This book stars of where the last one ended. Reyna was kidnapped and is being held a hostage by Backhams boss, William Harrington. It turned out that Reyna didn't have the same bloodtype as Beckham, no she has a very rare bloodtype. A bloodtype that happens to be the same as Harrington.
Harrington really has many screws loose in that head of his. He's really a massive creep.
The only thing that is helping Reyna to keep going is the thought that Beckham will come for her, that they will be reunited. After 50 something days that is harder to do everyday. It became even more harder when she see's Beckham has not only gotten back together with his on screen girlfriend but he has proposed to her.
When Reyna isn't sure how much more she can take she is being rescued by a rebel organisation Elle. Now Reyna is dead sett on making Harrington pay for all he has done to her and others.
Is there still a chance for Reyna and Beckham, a chance that what she saw wasn't the real truth or has Beckham really moved on from her....
What did I like about this book:
I liked that Reyna grew stronger, not that I wished her to be tortured as she was, but I do like that she isn't that naive anymore. That she is willing to fight and push towards.
I like her and Beckham together. Like I said there was still some back and forth going on that was really frustrating but anyone can see they where made for each other.
Be aware of that cliffhanger! It's a brutal one

Review:
I really love this book! It was great. A awesome conclusion to a great series. It was goot to see Becks opening up more. He did some terrible things in his past but he is trying to make things right. He is also trying to communicate more with Reyna.
Reyna really grew up since we first met her. She is no longer a naive girl that didn't stand her ground. She now is a strong woman, a fighter, someone that doesn't give up and pushes to do the right thing. She and Beckham really became equals.
What is this book about:
This book takes of where the last one ended. The plan to take out Harrington failed. Reyna and her friends suffered a terrible loss. They have all been betrayed and pay'd an awful price. They don't know who survived the bombings. She doesn't know whether her brothers are still alive. And to make matters worse, Beckham is gone.
The rebellion is on it's ass and Reyna isn't sure they can recover from their loss. Harrington has won. Or so he thinks!
What did I like about this book:
I liked the development the characters went through. You can really see them grow throughout the series.
I like most of the side characters. Reyna made some amazing friends.
I do wonder what Graves is. I hoped we saw him more but we didn't. Maybe we'll see him in his own book someday. That would be interesting.
Overall I really enjoyed this series, I hope the publisher decided to publish in paperback in the future because I'd love to have these book on my shelves.
