Review "Hotshot Doc by R.S. Grey"

Dr. Russell has a bad reputation around our hospital. The scrub techs say he’s cold-blooded, the nurses say he’s too cocky for his own good, and the residents say he’s the best surgeon in the world—really, just a swell guy!—on the off chance he’s within earshot.

I try to avoid him and his temper at all costs. It’s just as easy to admire his sexy, grip-it-while-he’s-ravishing-you hair and chiseled jaw from a healthy distance, preferably from the other end of the hallway…half-hidden behind a plant.

Unfortunately, my plan crumbles when my trusty ol’ boss decides to swap his white coat for a Hawaiian shirt. His retirement leaves me with two terrible options: switch specialties and spend months retraining, or take an open position as Dr. Russell’s surgical assistant.

That means I have to stand near him in the OR for hours on end and anticipate his every need without letting his biting words and bad attitude intimidate me. Oh, and as if that’s not difficult enough, my silly crush on him—the one I’ve tried to stomp on until it disappears—might just be reciprocated

It’s fine.
I’m fine.

I take my job seriously. There will be no smoldering bedroom eyes across the operating table, no angry almost-kisses in the supply closet. (Well, no more of those.)

What’s the phrase? An apple a day keeps the doctor away?
Maybe I should go for a whole damn bushel.

Favorite Quote: “I think to myself that he could be such a heartbreaker at the exact moment he snaps an order at the device rep. Oh right, that isn’t a Casanova standing across from me; it’s Dr. Beep Boop Robot. I’m not even sure there’s a heart beating beneath those scrubs.”

Review:
I saw someone talking about this book, they shared a small quote and I don't even remember what the quote said but I thought I have to read this book and so I did. It was hilarious!
Grey's Anatomy with allot of banter, laughs and ofcourse sexy time.

What is this book about:
This book is about Matt and Bailey. Matt is a young hot pediatric spinal doctor with huge chip on his shoulder and in need of an attitude adjustment. When another of his surgical assistent resigned he has to find a new one, the thing is finding one isn't the problem, them wanting to stay seems to be the issue.
Bailey once entertained the idea to study medicine but when she was 20 her parents got killed in a car crash and she became her little sisters guardian. Since then she dropped out and became a surgical assistent. A job she loves, problem is her surgeon is retiring. Now she has to find a new job.
And while Dr. Russel aka Matt is hiring she isn't sure she can or wants to handle his poor attitude and snide comments but if she wants to keep a roof over her and her sisters head, she has no other choice.
Will matt be able to keep on a surgical assistent longer than a few weeks this time and will he be able to stop himself from getting interested in the attractive small blonde? Read this book and you'll see

What did I like about this book:
I really liked the banter! I found Bailey hilarious. She is a very strong girl. I also liked her little sister, they both got along so well.
I liked the medical setting, as I'm a nurse as well and it felt accurate enough to not bother me. The Author did a good job writing about that.
Matt grew on me, once he started to lossen up and we got to know him a bit more, know the way he ticks, is started to love him.

I really enjoyed reading this book! It was sweet and funny and sexy!

Rating:
4 1/2 I loved it Stars
