Part of a small demon lair in North Las Vegas, tattooist Harper Wallis lives a pretty simple life. That changes overnight when she discovers that her psychic mate, or ‘anchor’, is a guy who’s rumored to be the most powerful demon in existence. Compelling, full of secrets and armed with raw sexuality, Knox Thorne is determined to claim her as his anchor, creating a psychic bond that will prevent their inner demons from ever turning rogue. The billionaire also wants Harper in his bed. She’s not so sure she wants either of those things. No one seems to know what breed of demon Knox is, only that he’s more dangerous than anything she’s ever before encountered. But he refuses to walk away. And when an unknown danger starts closing in on Harper, it seems that Knox is the only one who can keep her safe.
As Prime of his Las Vegas lair and a successful businessman, Knox Thorne is used to being in control. He’s also used to people fearing and obeying him. Harper does neither, which unexpectedly amuses him. Unpredictable, elusive, and complex, she draws Knox and his inner demon like nothing ever has. Knox is used to getting what he wants, and he wants Harper. He’ll have her, and he’ll keep her safe from the threat that looms over her. Because Knox protects what’s his. He won’t allow anyone to take her from him. Even if it will mean letting the demon inside him rise and wreak the havoc it was created to make.

Review:
This is my second time reading this book and I like it as much as I did the first time. It feels like the first time reading it.
I really like this story because it is well developed. It has great characters and the world building is good. I liked a different take on demons and I found it really interesting. I liked all the type of different demons.
What is this book about:
This book is about tattoo artist Harper. Harper lives a good live, she has a successful shop and she loves her family and friends.
When she meets the famous, powerful and intimidation Nox Thorne she didn't expect him to be her anchor. She didn't expect to be so attracted to him, and she most definitely didn't think it would be the same for him. You see Nox has quite a reputation and Harper is sure he will grow tired of her and leave.
Nox isn't somebody that is walking away from something he considers his, and he most definitely considers Harper his.
He didn't think he'd ever like a person that's defying him at every turn, he didn't expect her to surprise him as much as she does. And he most definitely didn't expect his demon to grow attached to her.
Things are getting weird in Las Vegas. Someone isn't happy about Harper and Nox's relationship. They are trying their hardest to get rid of her.
As if that isn't enough someone is trying to over through the current system and take control of all the demons in the US.
What did I liked about this book
I really like Harper. I liked how she can take care of herself. I like her wit. She's really funny. I also liked that she didn't give into Nox every whim and stood her ground.
I like Nox, he is hot as sin and very interesting.
I liked all the side characters, they are very entertaining and play a very important role to the story. They really add something to the story.
