Review "Charade by Nyrae Dawn"

Nineteen-year-old Cheyenne tries to portray the perfect life to mask the memories of her past. Walking in on her boyfriend with another woman her freshman year in college threatens that picture of perfection.

Twenty-one-year-old Colt never wanted college and never expected to amount to anything, but when his mom's dying wish is for him to get his degree, he has no choice but to pretend it's what he wants too.

Cheyenne needs a fake boyfriend to get back at her ex and Colt needs cash to take care of his mom, so they strike a deal that helps them both. But what if Cheyenne’s past isn’t what she thought? Soon they’re trading one charade for another—losing themselves in each other to forget about their pain. The more they play their game, the more it becomes the only thing they have that feels real.

Both Cheyenne and Colt know life is never easy, but neither of them expect the tragedy that threatens to end their charade and rip them apart forever.

Review
I really liked this book. Some things where kind of predictable but  other things certainly where not.  I really enjoyed this story.
What is this book about
This story is about Cheyenne. She grew up with her aunt and uncle. Her mother left her when she was younger. Not that she was a very good mother when she was around, she just liked partying more than her daughter. She never new her father. Anyhow it isn't a mystery why Cheyenne is very guarded.
After her boyfriend dumped her in a very very very douche way  but won't leave her alone after that. He keeps saying that he loves her and wants her but when other people or his "new girlfriend" are around he sings a whole different tune. So to get back at him Cheyenne say's she has a new boyfriend. That leaves her with the problem of finding one. She see's bad boy, tattooed Colt having a fight with her ex and decided that he is the perfect candidate for being her fake boyfriend.
Colt has some problems of his own. His father wasn't really around either. His mother worked very hard to provided for him. She was a drug baby and wanted more for Colt than she ever had.  After his mother got sick, cancer, he takes care of her. He isn't making money the legal way and only is in school because his mom wants him to. After being meeting Cheyenne and after some thought and consideration he decides he'll be Cheyenne's fake boyfriend because he really needs the money she's offering. But how long can they keep up this fake relationship before things starting to feel real...

What did I like about this book
I really liked the chemistry  Colt and Cheyenne had. I kind of loved they way they met, it was something different.
I also liked finding out more about colt and cheyenne. They grew throughout the story and I really liked seeing that.
There also where some great side characters in this book so I kind of want to read the other books in this series as well hahaha sadly I don't have that much time left for Apollyocon so after trying to read more from other authors that are attending there I will come back to this series!
