Or is he keeping a secret about what his connection to Leo is really all about and why Leo disappeared all those years ago?
REVIEW
This was a really sweet and easy read. It is a bit cliche but I still enjoyed it very much. I did see the plot coming but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it any less.
What is this story about.
This story is about Evie and Leo, both of them grew up in the same foster home, until Leo got adopted. Before leo left he made Evie a promise, that he would come back for her once he turned 18. Evie never saw him again.
Eight years later and Evie is trying to make a live for herself. She has an nice apartment that is her's and her's alone. She has a job in a hotel.
One day Evie meets Jake, who seems like doing a crappy job of stalking her. After confronting him, Jake tells her that he knew Leo, who has died in an car accident and came to find her for him. Jake is ceo of his late fathers company and is very wealthy. He also isn't shy to let Evie know that she is attracted to her.
This story is about first love, and moving on, and falling in love again. And trusting that things will turn out oke, even if you can't see it.
What did I love about it.
I love the story. I really liked Evie, she is a genuine nice and caring person. I really liked how Evie's and Jake's relationship developed and turned out.
It wasn't the most unique story but I really liked it.
I don't know what more to tell you but I really recommend you pick up this book and read it.
